Fiona Bogossian has been involved in the education of nurses and midwives for twenty years, the last fifteen years of which have been in the tertiary sector. In 2007 she commenced in the position of Postgraduate Research Coordinator at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, UQ. Fiona’s research interests can be divided into three areas; environmental and public health, maternity care and maternal experiences, and innovation in teaching and learning. Fiona completed her PhD in the area of population health specifically addressing maternal morbidity after childbirth. and her emergent research interests include the development of effective screening for ‘at risk' postpartum women. In 2006 Fiona was awarded the Bob & June Prickett Churchill Fellowship for study into an aspect of the health of Australians.
